Receptionist - Per Diem

You are the face of TaraVista! You are the person that will be greeting our staff and visitors. Responsible for administrative and support functions at TaraVista Behavioral Health Center, including: answering the telephone, processing calls, taking messages when necessary, greeting visitors, family members, vendors and contractors. Other administrative duties as assigned.
Education Required: High School or Equivalent.
Experience Required: 2 to 3 years of administrative experience.
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent organizational and administrative skills.
Highly personable and a team player.
Comfortable greeting family members.
Ability to multi-task.
Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing in English. Must be able to address individuals and groups confidently. Language skills must be adequate to effectively present and communicate information and respond to questions from staff, patients, and the general public.
Knowledge & Abilities
Must be competent to follow policies and procedures; and have the willingness and skills to monitor and control the activities assigned. Requires written/oral communication effectiveness and the understanding and knowledge of how to deal with people with varied backgrounds.
Must have the ability to solve practical problems and interpret a variety of instructions and information of a general business nature. Common sense is a must. Computer operation ability is required. Must be able to read and comprehend forms and other common software generated reports, policies and procedures. Must be aware of confidentiality needs in a medical setting.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
