Job Description Summary

JLL is seeking a Sample Management Associate to join our team. This role will support our client?s Process Development Analytics group by handling the preparation of samples for further testing.

Essential Functions

  • Collection of samples from cold rooms and entry into LIMS.

  • Aliquoting samples out into vials, plates or other containers based on scientists? requests.

  • Maintaining plate maps as required.

  • Any and all other duties and tasks assigned.

Required Knowledge, skills, and abilities

  • Performs work in accordance with approved equipment, maintenance and safety procedures.

  • Ability to communicate and build relationships with scientific customers.

  • Proven strong customer service skills.?

  • Ability to interface with LIMS and ELNs.

  • Experience working with high volumes of samples.

Education and Experience Qualifications

  • Bachelor?s degree in scientific discipline (chemistry or biology preferred) or equivalent work experience

  • 2+ years lab experience, preferably within the biopharma industry

  • Strong interpersonal skills and problem-solving ability

  • Excellent verbal communication skills

  • High level of attention to detail

  • Knowledge of client systems and documentation

  • Knowledge of MS Office suite

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
