Registered Nurse-Up to $3000 sign on bonus

The Registered Nurse is an active participant in the health care team who provides direct and indirect care to patients/families/legal guardians, utilizing the components of the nursing process in accordance with the philosophy, objectives, values, mission and core principles of TaraVista Behavioral Health Center. The Registered Nurse is responsible for maintaining a safe therapeutic milieu grounded in the TaraVista Health core principles listed below. The Registered Nurse works collaboratively as a member of the multi-disciplinary treatment team and contributes to each patient?s individual treatment plan by helping develop, implement, and document appropriate goals and interventions, informed by patient strengths and presenting psychiatric problems.

  • Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. CPR and Restraint Reduction de-escalation/crisis intervention strategy certifications.

  • At least one year experience working in an inpatient psychiatric facility.

  • Demonstrated ability to use critical thinking to make decisions and solve problems.

  • Advanced level knowledge of Behavior Health and Substance Abuse treatment modalities; applies nursing process from a Trauma Informed Recovery model of care.

  • Ability to develop a therapeutic relationship while maintaining professional boundaries.

  • Effective oral and written communication.

  • Sufficient typing and computer skills to facilitate use of Electronic medical record.

  • Crisis management, time management, delegating, coaching and team building skill required.

  • Flexibility, creativity and ability to manage stressful situations in a calm, organized and professional manner.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
