Bristol-Myers Squibb has announced plans for an expansion of its large-scale biologics manufacturing facility in Devens, Massachusetts.
The expansion will create a mammalian cell biologics center of excellence through the introduction of biologics development and clinical trial manufacturing capabilities to the site.
Both represent new capabilities for Devens, a site that in its early years has focused solely on large-scale, bulk biologics manufacturing.

Responsibilities:
Determines the scope of the work requests including clarification of the originator's intent and assigning appropriate priority to facilitate effective deployment of resources.
Plans a general strategy of the work (such as repair or replace) and includes a preliminary procedure if there is not one already in the file and creates the Work Order in the CMMS.
Plans all works ensuring equipment availability and that work orders have Materials, Labor, Special Tools, Safety Permits etc.

Progresses the Work Orders through the proper status according to the workflows and practices.
Assists in the evaluation of the current maintenance/metrology procedures and recommend changes to optimize the maintenance/metrology program.
Supports the implementation and attainment of Key Performance Indicator targets.
Supports all Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) initiatives.
Develops revised and review related SOPs or job plans/work plans for work related areas.
Follows-up with shift maintenance/metrology leads to ensure all work is performed and the shift adheres to the job schedule.
Plans Major and Minor Site Outages minimizing the Impact to Operations.
Keeps the communication to the stakeholders updated with the information on when their requests will be executed.
Manages maintenance workload, and scheduling work to match available manpower and equipment availability avoiding Manufacturing Interruptions but PMs performed on time.
Develops and delivers information as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in a training environment.
Analyses the Feedback to Planner resulting from executed Work Orders with the end result of improving continuously the Job Plans delivered to the Technicians.
Ensures Job Plans are current and in order to apply the proper Preventive, Predictive Maintenance procedures.
Supports the development of contracts with outside vendors in the performance of maintenance activities.
Leads and coordinates scheduling for utility and infrastructure shutdowns for Preventative and Corrective maintenance.
Processes QEs, CAPAs and Audit Responses according to established due dates.
Qualifications Technical knowledge of maintenance, operations and/or engineering generally attained through studies resulting in a B.
S.
, in engineering, a related discipline, or its equivalent.
A minimum of 8 years of experience in the field of maintenance planning & scheduling or equivalent.
A Minimum 4 years experience in one of the following fields:
Clean Utilities Operations/Maintenance, Biopharmaceutical Process Equipment Maintenance Experience with the alignment of Manufacturing Schedule with the Maintenance Schedule.
Experience working within a regulated environment (cGMP).
Working knowledge of a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), such as Maximo, MP2 or similar.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
