Quality - Laboratory Technician
Key
Responsibilities:
o Independently execute routine lab operations activities including, but not limited to:
o Maintaining consumable and chemical ordering lists, as well as chemical inventory to ensure uninterrupted stocks are available to analytical labso Ordering non-routine lab supplies, familiarity with associated software (Arriba, RIO), working with outside departments including Financeo Schedules equipment maintenance as needed and works with vendors/engineers (Waters, Sciex, Protein Simple, ThermoFisher) to keep instrumentation in proper working order in a timely mannero Assist in lab organizational activities and lead a culture of continuous improvemento Maintaining schedules for routine lab maintenance and cleaning, familiar with concepts and execution of 5S programso Coordinating shipping and staying updated on current international shipping policies, as well as receiving of packageso Attending facilities and operations meetingso Communicate progress and findings on an as-needed basis with supervisor and associated group members.
o Lead general and lab focused safety inspections and act as a representative at site safety committee meetings.
Key Competencies:
o Bachelor's degree with 2
years' experience with laboratory management.
o Organizational Skills - creative thinking, analyzing issues, decision making, collaborationo Fluency with Microsoft Office and Excel with excellent writing skillso Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal are requiredo Ability to work independently and effectively collaborate with teamso Hands-on experience in a laboratory setting and basic knowledge of chemistry is a benefito Familiarity with relevant quality, regulatory and ICH guidelines highly desirableAdditional Job Requirements:
