Value Stream Manager (Onsite)Our Value Stream Manager will need to utilize their strong leadership, product management and a lean-focused mindset to implement, develop and drive continuous improvement initiative and projects across the company product lines within the WM Americas manufacturing organization.
Responsibilities:
Lead the relocating the operation from its current Milpitas, California location to the new, state of the art Devens, Massachusetts manufacturing site.
Leveraging Lean principles and best practices is critical while driving successful product realization and sustained production operations to support the ongoing business.
Be a member of the site senior leadership team to solidify the WM culture; including our safety-first culture and show the ability to engage and empower employees.
Lead the ASEPCO customer technical support operations including applications engineering, product customization, product validation, product roadmap and development activities.
Assess and evolve the standard work documentation in support of administrative and operational best practices for the site and the team.
Responsible for the operations P&L of the business including the management of all direct and indirect aspects of the operation.
This includes production planning, material sourcing, quality control and product test in addition to the customer technical support operations noted above.
All work to be done in collaboration with the other site and functional leadership teams.
Ownership of the P&L for the value stream including analysis and cost improvement activities.
Create the vision for the value streams best in class safe and lean operation and lead the team to execute the improvements on the journey to that goalEngage in project management activities and provide leadership for the customer technical support operation including:
new product proposals and projects, as well as ensuring continuous product optimization and validationDevelop and maintain strong customer relationships, establishing a deep understanding of their environment, and generating a clear understanding of the challenges they face.
Work with the value stream and site leadership team to provide world class customer supportEngage and empower the value stream team members to identify and drive the value creating activitiesAccountable for developing and managing the value stream's operations strategyIdentify, implement, and improve key process metrics to understand the health of operations while providing a baseline for continuous improvement.
Support with forecasting and planning manufacturing growth including floorspace, equipment capacity, tooling, and labour required to meet quantities and schedules.
Support and mentor the team on a broad range of analysis including Value Stream Mapping, queueing analysis, production planning and control, SMED, process flow diagrams, FMEA, best practice problem solving and quality function deployment, etc.
Engage and report to senior operational and engineering leaders, team members, and stakeholders to gain alignment on implementation plans and success metrics.
Be accountable, drive accountability within the organization, and put problems first with a sense of urgency.
Engage with subject matter experts to leverage expertise toward product realizationMaintain a strong focus on safety, training, and the development of people
Qualifications:
Background in machining, molding, or assembly industry helpfulBachelor's degree in business, engineering/science discipline or equivalent experienceExperience in life science, medical device, biopharma, or other related industries preferredExperience in product management preferred.
Prior manufacturing or engineering leadership experience helpfulProject management experienceExperience of optimization and validation of products and processesKnowledge of requirements for operational excellence including but not limited to Lean and 6 Sigma experience.
Highly skilled at building and maintaining a dedicated team and maintaining effective, productive relationships with key stakeholders and suppliersCommercially and financially skilled with strong negotiation, communication, interpersonal and influencing skills.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
